We at Perpetual Help Medical Center – Las Piñas proudly continue our year-long golden anniversary celebration with another meaningful milestone — the inaugural Dr. Jose G. Tamayo Memorial Lecture themed “Collaborative Patient Care for Better Outcomes.”
It was a special moment as Dr. Arcadio L. Tamayo, Senior Vice President for Hospital Affairs of Perpetual Help Medical Center – Biñan, received the Certificate of Appreciation in honor of his father’s enduring legacy and remarkable contributions to healthcare and education.
Former PHMC-LP Medical Director Dr. Rowena Auxillos delivered an inspiring memorial lecture, “The Power of We: Honoring Legacy Through Collaborative Care,” reminding us that true collaboration in healthcare is not just a process but a cultural transformation that continues Dr. Tamayo’s vision.
We were honored to welcome more than 200 delegates—doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals—who participated in the sessions featuring 23 lecturers and panelists sharing their insights on multidisciplinary care.
Our President, LTC Richard Antonio M. Tamayo, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants and guests, including Las Piñas City Health Officer Dr. Julie Gonzales and Councilor Dr. Eric De Leon, for supporting this successful commemorative event.
Delegates also earned Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units, reaffirming our commitment to continuous learning, collaboration, and Alagang Perpetual—a legacy of compassion and excellence in patient care
